Paul Robeson Graphic Biography

Rutgers University Press is very proud to share with you our fundraising effort to help underwrite cost of publishing and paying for art in our groundbreaking graphic biography of Rutgers Class of 1919 alum, Paul Robeson. This project would complement the work done by the Rutgers Robeson Centennial effort of 2019 by providing an audience of public school children and interested alums and adult readers with an accessible biography of one of the university's most accomplished and important alums.

Funds raised would keep the price of the book low, thus making it accessible to the widest possible audience of people interested in Rutgers history and African-American history.

Rutgers University Press is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge to scholars, students, and the general reading public. The Press reflects and extends the University's core mission of research, instruction, and service. We enhance the work of our authors through exceptional publications that shape critical issues, spark debate, and enrich teaching throughout the world for a wide range of readers.
