Description

Rutgers offers student food pantries at each of its university divisions, namely: the Student Food Pantry at Rutgers–New Brunswick, pantryRUN at Rutgers–Newark, the RU–Camden Raptor Pantry, and the RBHS Food Pantry at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. Each pantry is supported by a dedicated fund; learn more by clicking “Contribute” above.

Why are donations necessary?

Roughly one in three Rutgers students across all degree levels experiences food insecurity, meaning they do not have reliable access to enough affordable, nutritious food to maintain good health. Donations to Student Nutrition, Health, and Well-Being Funds at Rutgers help our student food pantries maintain a robust stock of healthy foods and other everyday necessities. In turn, these food pantries help our students meet their nutritional needs while pursuing their degrees. Learn more about student food pantries at Rutgers here.

How you can Help

No student should have to choose between investing in their education and eating healthy meals. At Rutgers, we want our students to have the opportunity to just be students—not hungry students, and not students trying to figure out if they can afford their next meal. Your support for Student Nutrition, Health, and Well-Being Funds helps students maintain their well-being while staying focused on their studies.

Donations are applied to...

Contributions to student food pantries will assist Rutgers students who are facing food insecurity so they can stay focused on their studies without going hungry. Your support empowers academic success and the transformational opportunities that come with it.
