About Scarlet Promise Grants
Philanthropy plays a huge role in student success at Rutgers. In fact, a large majority of Rutgers students require financial assistance to attend the university. Scarlet Promise Grants offer essential aid to students through their financial aid packages, with grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 a year. The grants can be used for tuition, books, academic expenses, and even in emergency situations like the loss of a parent or a job. Last year, more than 9,000 students received aid, thanks to generous donors. Scarlet Promise Grants help alleviate the financial burden of education for students and help tomorrow’s leaders fulfill their potential.
